Michigan Reconnect is a program that pays your tuition for trade school or college.
To be eligible, you must:

Be at least 25 years old when you apply

Have lived in Michigan for a year or more

Have a high school diploma or equivalent

Have not yet completed a college degree (associate or bachelor's)

Detroit Down Payment Assistance offers a grant up to $25,000 in assistance to purchase a home in Detroit . You have to have lived in Detroit for the last 12 months. Visit detroitdpa.org for more information. Other funds are available through MSHDA , Michigan State Housing Development Authority you may get up to $10,000 .
